Reporting on the Madrid International Plan for Action on Ageing

The Secretariat for International Policy on Ageing of the BAGSO together with the UNECE, AGE Platform Europe, the UN NGO Committee on Ageing in Geneva and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, organised an online workshop on civil society participation in reporting on the United Nations Second World Ageing Plan – Madrid International Plan for Action on Ageing (MIPAA).
The event was aimed in particular at civil society organisations and governments that want to participate in reporting on the Madrid International Plan for Action on Ageing. In the online workshop, representatives of governments and senior citizens' organisations reported on their experiences of implementing the participatory approach to reviewing the plan. Participants were able to participate in the event in German, English, French and Russian.
