Leaving no one behind in times of digitalisation
Experiences of older people in Europe

The Secretariat for International Policy on Ageing of BAGSO has organised an online workshop on 24 September as part of the German EU Council Presidency. The workshop offered interested parties an insight into the experiences of older people using digital media in various European countries and examined the topic from a human rights perspective. The Independent Expert on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons, Dr Claudia Mahler, provided an introduction to the topic. Afterwards, participants were able to choose one of four working groups for a virtual trip to France, Portugal, Slovenia or the Danube countries.
