Endorsing a UN Convention on the Rights of Older Persons

In this statement BAGSO calls on the German Federal Government and the international community to take the next steps towards the adoption of an internationally binding legal instrument to protect the rights of older people, such as a UN Convention on the Rights of Older Persons. BAGSO points out the main aspects that should be considered in such a convention.
